30 year-old Gunnar Esiason is a walking miracle. After being diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at age two, he went on to inspire others with his hope and perseverance as he has made fighting cystic fibrosis and other rare diseases, part of his life’s mission. He developed a patient engagement platform for a medical nutrition company, built a venture philanthropy practice, consulted on a clinical trial development real world evidence, population health study while assisting on fibrosis specific mental health and wellness screening tools. He sits on the Board of Directors at the Boomer Esiason Foundation and No Patient Left Behind. He even co-hosts Breathe In: a cystic fibrosis podcast which was an iTunes top 200 health podcast in 2018.
