Michael is a Managing Director, Insurance and Retirement Solutions of The Colony Group with a focus on retirement and insurance solutions. Michael also assists clients with the development and sale of their private businesses, utilizing decades of experience helping businesses raise capital and determine their ideal exit/sale strategy.

Prior to joining the firm, Michael was a President for InterOcean Capital where he handled a wide range of leadership responsibilities including: strategic decisions on how to invest portfolios; creating the InterOcean Capital Quarterly Market Outlook and running InterOcean Capital operations in the Southwest.

Michael founded Wealth Management, LLC in Scottsdale in 2005, which later became Henry+Horne Wealth Management in 2017. Before Henry+Horne Wealth Management, he founded CCR Wealth Management, LLC in Boston. Michael attended the School of Financial Planning at Boston University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from George Washington University. Michael is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and a Wealth Management Specialist℠.

Michael serves on the board of several companies including Tempe, AZ based Erthos, a utility scale solar energy company that owns the patent of installing solar panels flat on the ground, and NuSpine, a national network of chiropractic centers and franchise company. Michael is married and has five children and a very full house – Zachary, Logan, Jacob, Hannah and Brynn with two dogs and even a Holland Lop bunny acquired during Covid.
