Supporting Lifelong Learning

The Lisa Poff Bold and Brilliant Scholarship is awarded annually to a colleague who shares a commitment to learning and exploring new challenges. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants will have been full-time employees and in good standing at The Colony Group for a minimum of two years. Eligible programs include academic or professional courses, certifications, advanced degrees, leadership and coaching, and other development programs.

Bold and Brilliant Scholarship

Lisa Poff was an extraordinary person who exemplified all of colony’s values, most notably her passion as a lifelong learner and her drive to explore new challenges. Lisa brought out the best in each person who had the privilege of working with her by encouraging everyone to step outside their comfort zone and embrace their zone of genius. She did so in her own personable, thoughtful, and convincing manner. Lisa’s passion for learning and developing her team and other colleagues led to growth and achievement both for the company, and for the people who surrounded her. She was a coal advocate for many at colony, and her support of them made them better professionals and better humans.
