John is a financial service professional with more than 30 years of experience. John makes introductions to those who may benefit from our capabilities and expertise, and works directly with clients to define financial goals, create appropriate strategies, and monitor and provide feedback about their progress towards those goals.

John served as the Managing Director, Family Wealth & Business Transition Planning for Harvest Capital Management prior to their merger with The Colony Group in 2019. Previously, John was the NH State President for Bank of America and Market Executive for its wealth management division, U.S. Trust, where he led wealth management and commercial banking teams in advising individuals, families and businesses throughout New England.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT where he also played football. In addition, he holds the Certified Exit Planner (CExP™) designation and is a member of The BEI Network of Exit Planning Professionals™.

John currently serves on Schwab’s Charitable Fund Advisory Council. He previously served on the boards of The Nature Conservancy of NH, NH Business Committee for the Arts, Elliot Health Systems, the New Hampshire Humanities Council, Junior Achievement of NH, the Corporate Fund of the NH Charitable Foundation, the Advisory Council of the Currier Museum of Art, and the Statewide Board of The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.

Outside of the office, he loves to travel with family and friends, plays golf and tennis and enjoys skiing. On his list of all-time favorite books is the Lord of the Rings Trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien: “My generation’s ‘Harry Potter’ series.” He is married to Gail for more than 25 years, and they have three sons.
