The Drive of Joseph Bramlett

Joseph Bramlett was the youngest player ever to qualify for the U.S. Amateur at the age of 14 and later went on to be an All-American at Stanford and a member of the 2007 NCAA Championship team. In 2010, he earned his PGA Tour card which made him, along with Tiger Woods, one of two PGA Tour golfers of African American descent to appear on the 2011 PGA Tour. Following the 2011 PGA Tour, he battled a major back injury causing him to miss four and half years and the doctors thought his career was over. Joseph persevered, beat the odds, changed his swing, and ultimately returned to the PGA in 2020. He won the Korn Ferry Tour Championship in 2021 – earning his return to the PGA Tour for the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
