Rod is a Managing Director and Senior Wealth Advisor at The Colony Group. Prior to joining the firm, Rod served as a Principal of Long Wharf Investors, where he leveraged his strong analytical skills and honed his abilities as a corporate lawyer to advise clients on a broad background of business, legal, and financial issues. Rod is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional and brings more than 20 years of experience as a business and commercial real estate lawyer.

Rod serves on the Board of Directors for Animal Rescue League of Boston, a non-profit that has been involved with animal welfare in this area for over 100 years. For 15 years, Rod served as Chairman of the Advisory Committee for the City of Boston, guiding the comprehensive planning process for billions of dollars of planned development on the City of Boston Waterfront. He was named a “Five Star Wealth Manager” by Boston Magazine from 2014-2020.*

Rod holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Brown University and earned his Juris Doctor from the Indiana University School of Law. When not in the office, Rod enjoys playing tennis, golf, biking, and gardening, as well as escaping for time away when possible.
