Evan is the Vice President of Information Technology at the firm. In his role, he is responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing IT Infrastructure and experience. He is responsible for helping to make sure that team members can leverage computer systems and technologies to best service their clients. Evan acts as a point of escalation for IT team members to address daily issues and to engage in knowledge-sharing efforts to develop increased technical expertise of team members. He is also responsible for building and enhancing Colony’s cybersecurity program and capabilities to protect against ever-evolving threats. As needed, Evan aids leadership and compliance teams to enhance capabilities, vet new vendors, and develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures.
Prior to joining The Colony Group, Evan worked for more than 10 years at two managed service providers in the New England area, including Technology Advisory Group and Ayacht Technology Solutions. He worked on many special projects throughout the U.S. and abroad, consisting of Wi-Fi and network deployments in MLB stadiums as well as network, Wi-Fi, and security camera deployments in high end hotels.
Evan is involved in a number of online IT-related organizations to help other IT Professionals and improve upon his own skills.
When not in the office, Evan enjoys playing hockey and golf as well as spending time with his family.
