As a Senior Billing Associate at The Colony Group, Samantha works with the finance team to ensure that fees and reports are accurate and processed in a timely manner. She creates new accounts, investigates billing concerns, and performs adjustments and administrative tasks as required. She manages competing priorities and complex requirements while remaining detail-oriented. Sam is also proud to serve as secretary on TCG’s Philanthropy Committee.

Prior to joining The Colony Group, Sam worked extensively in customer-facing roles that involved large quantities of sensitive data. She was point-person for Lexia Learning’s Technical Onboarding team. She also spent time as a Customer Support Specialist at a Safecor Health – a pharmaceutical repackaging facility.  In 2019, she presented a workshop on customer empathy and communication skills at Support Driven’s Expo in Portland.

Sam is classically trained soprano and graduated magna cum laude from UMass Lowell with a dual Bachelor of Arts in Vocal performance and Music Education. She volunteered with local scouting units for nearly a decade and is a Wood Badge recipient. In 2022, she decided to bring her love of art and working with children to her local community as a professional face painter. In her free time, she enjoys performing with local theater groups, reading, board games, kayaking, and all things Disney. Sam lives with her spouse, two children, and one rescued pup in central Massachusetts, where they are (very slowly) renovating their 180-year-old home.
