Samarjit Shankar is a Portfolio Strategist at The Colony Group in our Concord, New Hampshire office. Samarjit is an experienced global strategist, macroeconomist, and investor with multi-asset class experience in Equities, Bonds, Currencies and Commodities. Over the years, he has worked in senior leadership positions at BNY Mellon and State Street in Boston, J.P. Morgan and Mariner in New York, and Barclays BZW in London, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
He has advised clients and spearheaded numerous thought leadership initiatives with global money managers and policy makers. His focus is on connecting with clients, across the spectrum of private wealth and institutional, to understand their investment objectives, risk tolerances, and liquidity needs, and to build customized portfolios within these parameters to generate returns and minimize risk.
