Steve is a Managing Director, Senior Wealth Advisor, and Principal of The Colony Group. As one of the firm’s earliest Principals, Steve has enjoyed serving as the counselor to many of the company’s legacy clients for over 25 years. He uses his deep expertise to craft comprehensive and sophisticated wealth management plans for high net worth individuals, corporate executives, and organizations.

Steve is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Brain Tumor Society and serves on the Board of Advisors for the Graduate Tax Program and the Master of Financial Planning Program at Bentley University, is the former treasurer of the University of Massachusetts Foundation, and is a former member of the Finance Commission for the Town of Westwood. Steve previously has served as the Chairman of the Taxation Section of the Massachusetts Bar Association and has lectured and written on behalf of the MBA on numerous topics concerning tax and estate planning. He earned his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University School of Law, an LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts.

When not in the office, Steve enjoys skiing, biking, and swimming. He also participates in numerous Jimmy Fund events and enjoys visiting his two adult sons who live in Chicago.
